30 Day Challenge - Day 18


Today's photo is a panoramic view taken from a look out just after you enter the Lake Mead National Recreational Area. On the left hand side you can see the bridge that crosses the River right before the Davis Dam.
The Davis Dam was completed in 1953 and cost around $67 million to complete. Its main purpose was to help regulate the Hoover Dam releases. The Davis Dam Power plant generates 1 to 2 billion kilowatt-hours annually.
This photo, consists of three photos stitched together in Photoshop. It was cropped and the levels adjusted a bit to accent the tones.
